Rock64 europe power supply voltage - Kaarme42 - 07-11-2017 Hi I wonder why SKU: R64-PB-POWER Categories: Pinebook, ROCK64 power supply input voltage are between 110V-220V AC In europe the common voltage is 230V AC Is it really only 220V AC ? I trying to look at picture in store but the picture are not so clear. Is there any approvals like UL, TUV or SGS ? CE is not real approvals :-) BR: Kaarme42 RE: Rock64 europe power supply voltage - fire219 - 07-11-2017 The voltage difference is nothing to be concerned about, it's just that voltage standards are often not not well defined. For example, in the US the AC voltage may be called 110V, 115V, 120V or 125V. Same thing applies in Europe. As for testing and approvals on the power supply, I do not know. The one I got with mine has TUV and GS/SGS. Today voltage is 230VAC and ”all quality stuff" like good phone charge are marked 100 -240. If yours power supply are SKU: R64-PB-POWER and marked TUV and GS/SGS it is good news. I think they do not give approvals to europe if max voltage is really only 220V (this is only my thinking not real fact) BR: Kaarme42 |
