Best OS for Pine A64+ - abrmx - 07-06-2017

Hello

I want to know what is the best build for this board. I have just installed Remix OS 2.0 and its okay.... But I want something more. I would like with HArdware Acceleration.

If needed hardware acceleration, you can try out Ayufan Android 7.1 or 6.0 build.

If needed hardware acceleration, you can try out Ayufan Android 7.1 or 6.0 build.

But I dont want Android! I like Linux! =(

But I dont want Android! I like Linux! =(


I recommend the ubuntu base image.

... there is a script on-board which will allow you to install a gui desktop (mate)  ;  if you know you want a gui desktop from the beginning, then use the ubuntu mate image.

These are great little gnu+linux computers.

Try Armbian
Second for Armbian. I currently use it and have been very happy with it.

All that said, I am not sure if it fully delivers hardware acceleration that you are requesting. Others can confirm.

Finally I install Debian and im using it for game server like Teeworlds and Minecraft =/
