Shipping service - Terra854 - 02-26-2016

Hello.

Just wondering, whch shipping service you guys use for shipping out the Pine64 boards?

Shipping service - RaspiBit - 02-26-2016

And what about customs? I would not like to pay unnecessary extra taxes and fees...

In general, we try to use ems and post.

We use post service route which normally has less custom issue. However, we cannot guarantee can avoid taxes and fees.

Then send them by China Post Reistered Airmail, I've never had an issue with that shipping carrier. I don't care waiting for my board, I just want not to pay more.

@tllim
when you send to USA (cheaper than other country, 7$) are you also sending it from china using Post Service?
or do you send it from inside US (hence the cheaper cost)?

I would recommend that you use EMS because normal post via China Post takes horribly long to ship.

In general, EMS is the first pick. Such as all shipment to US and England are EMS and takes about one week. Unless in some rare case, most shipment will have tracking number.

RE: Shipping service - Montala - 03-02-2016

Just to clarify... are you saying that we will be advised when our 'orders' have been shipped, and at that stage we will be provided with a tracking number?

I am in the U.K if that makes any difference!

Thanks! Smile

When shipped, we will provide tracking number. We will use EMS for UK shipping.

Hi tllim,

will you use EMS also for shipments to Slovakia?
How long it might take to deliver it in case of EMS and how long in case of standard one?

Thanks.
