HDMI 3D, ARC + Ethernet Channels? - bigmacattack - 12-12-2015

I see that HDMI CEC will be supported, but what about some of the other features of HDMI 1.4 such as 3D, the Audio Return Channel (ARC) and the Ethernet Channel?

The Audio Return Channel (ARC) and the Ethernet Channel are not supported. Not sure about 3D and needs to explore further.

Noted, since I have not tested the 3D function and confirmed works well, I rather give an unsure answer first.

Note that ARC is not really useful for most HDMI sources. ARC is used by AV receivers in case the video output port is repurposed as an audio input port, for TVs if the input port is used as an audio output port. This would be only useful if you used the satellite/cable receiver inside your TV and output the audio from the Pine.
