QT5 on Pine64 - rickseiden - 01-01-2017

I have an xprotolab plain o-scope.  The software for it is written in QT, which means that, in theory, I should be able to get it running on the Pine64.

My only problem is that I have QT4 by default, and need QT5.

How do I go about installing QT5 and telling the system to use QT5 instead of QT4?  I've searched online, and all it's done is confuse me.

Once QT5 is installed, I think it's just a matter of running cmake to make the software.

Thanks in advance!
RIck

We are currently work on Ubuntu Core with QT Embedded. However, I don't knwos the QTe version number and will check with involved engineers. This build plans to release in two weeks time.

The xprotolad is an interest project and please share your progress.

Which image are you running? Depending on what the exact requirements for the scope software are, you might have to build Qt and friends together with the source on the Pine...

I'm sorry.  Such an obvious thing that should have been included.  I'm running the Debian image.

Thank you
Rick
