Custom boot animations - Bluphire - 12-30-2016
Is it possible to change the boot animations in any of the currently released Android images? I used to change them on my phone's years ago after rooting, just wondering if it can be done on these builds.

I had more luck with an app than I did manually doing this but supposedly all you need to do is replace bootanimation.zip with your own. It lives in /system/media/. I was using ES File Explorer and clicked on Local > Device > system > media. http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/how-to-change-customize-create-android-boot-animation-guide/ Might be better than explaining this.
