Host website on Pine server - Ernst - 02-15-2016 Hi there, I would like to use my Pine as a server to host my website. Does anyone know a easy way to do this? I found a way to do it with a Raspberry Pi, can I use the same steps as they do? http://www.instructables.com/id/Host-your-website-on-Raspberry-pi/ Thanks RE: Host website on Pine server - KryPtAlIvIaN - 02-15-2016 Funny you post this, I was just looking into it. Once we get a stable linux release, it should be possible. RE: Host website on Pine server - Zoidiano0 - 02-15-2016 Ya i think once a Linux distribution be able to run on pine64 we can do whatever we want to. You'll be able to set up Apache, nginx, whatever you want! RE: Host website on Pine server - jl_678 - 02-16-2016 Hi, Indeed, I am interested in this too. I currently host a website on my Raspberry Pi 2 and am hoping that my Pine64 will be an upgrade. In practice, it is actually quite easy, but you just need to ensure the appropriate packages are available. The other item that is worth considering is running OwnCloud since you can basically create your own "Dropbox" like storage. It works great on RPi if not a bit slow and I am hoping that it will run much faster on my P64.
