Alternative 7" LCD for Android - neyron - 11-14-2016
Hello,
There is any alternative LCD with touch panel that will be work with Android? Lcd from Pine64 store has terrible viewing angle... If lcd has hdmi with usb touch, it will be ok too.

What is wrong with the viewing angle of a iddy bitty screen that was designed to look straigh-on into ??

Your question has been asked a zillion times and the answer is still the same, no.
Only one 7" LCD is supported for the pine board; and it plugs into the DSI and TP connector.

Beware that USB touch controllers require a driver that might not be available in Android kernel and that HDMI only supports a few common display resolutions.
With ayufan's Android all you need is an electrically/mechanically compatible LCD using the same touch controller since then you only have to adjust display dimensions in .dts.
