Suggestion for future cases from Pine - evdboogerd - 09-07-2016

Hi, I'm not sure if this has been addressed before (since I have not went through the entire forum).
I recently got the ABS plastic case that I ordered(backed) in January with the pine. To my surprise there is no opening to get out the SD card.  Confused
In my opinion, that has to be a mistake since now you'd have to open the case, unscrew the board, get it out, to remove the SD card. That makes no sense whatsoever :p (esp considering its a development board that will require a lot of switching of the software.

So, should Pine release another version, please make it so that you can easily remove the SD card. Imo, an essential thing for a development board case.

The general concensus for the ABS case is, "underwhelming".   Dodgy

what about the huge gapping hole on one side that was not in the photos of pre-production model.
i think its ridiculous

Their reasoning was that its for people that will use this for projects and pass wire through.

To me a cutout plate could have been easily made and used that can be removable. Design looks like thats what was the plan even when you look at the case but it was left out.
