On-Screen Keyboard Arrow Keys - biketool - 03-04-2025

With the current Phosh the included on-screen terminal keyboard has changed and while most of the improvements are great where is my unix up-key?
I like to up/down to scroll for my previous inputs. Also what is the left/righ arrow key next to A?

With phosh and squeekboard, just create your own layout. Here is mine.

Sorry IDK... Brain damage? spaced out between edits?

What I had meant to say was I want only the non-wide keyboard

not sure what I was missing, all files/dirs are in place as specified
and I see what I did in in the post error some cut/paste form the git
in my Pphone I have the non-wide us.yaml wget'ed from the proper places in the git like this

there was a keyboard with arrows but i don't remember which one

Also, open the local us.yml and look for "M4". I have include M1 through M12. You can change the label and text to what ever you want.

Find:

I will give this a try when I have time, so far no new keyboard, I searched in both mobile touch keyboard and in the regular settings keyboard settings.
I have been been taking half days sick so probably made mistakes though I checked the above and the files and dirs are all correct, what else is required to activate the non-wide kb?
It really makes me remember how much a terminal user relies on tab and arrow keys having to type EVERYTHING out EVERY time!
I felt like the old layouts were pretty good for a cramped phone touch interface, no idea why they changed it.

folder, and this is also possible using Portfolio. There was a situation that it didn't work. I realized that you need to uninstall Addon Phosh OSK via the software app.

Finally, it is necessary to log out the user or restart the system.
