does the Joplin note taking app work on the PineNote? - derdon - 01-23-2025 Hello dear PineNote users, has anyone tried using Joplin on the PineNote yet? Joplin has a built in drawing function and I am curious on how that works with the stylus and the overall experience of Joplin on the PineNote. Best regards, Don RE: does the Joplin note taking app work on the PineNote? - vlagged - 01-25-2025 (01-23-2025, 12:59 PM)derdon Wrote: has anyone tried using Joplin on the PineNote yet? It seems to be an electron app by looking at the AUR package (for archlinux), and is only distributed as flatpak and snaps (officially) so I imagine it is not easily installable on Debian (but not impossible). The web-app part of the electron app could be the same as this one, app.joplincloud.com so you can try it online. RE: does the Joplin note taking app work on the PineNote? - bloopedybloop - 02-15-2025 Any luck with this yet? I love Joplin, and I like that I can self-host it and sync across devices. In the meantime, i've installed Iotas on the PineNote through the GNOME app installer library, and it has much of the same functionality I like about Joplin for typed notes. |
