CIrcuitry inside Battery Casing? - rotdrop - 10-21-2024

Hi there,

I purchased one of those aluminum battery casing:

My question is: there is a small PCB inside with 3 ICs on top of it, does this PCB compose a battery protection circuit? That would be a very welcome feature, but I could not find any information about this in the shop or in this forum.

Best

I have also an additional question: what are the parameters of the thermistor in the battery casing? What is its B-constant? What is its nominal resistance (e.g. 10k kO at 20 degrees or so?) Without those parameters it is not possible to translate the sensor readings into temperature value.

Kind thanks for clarification.
