DVB-T USB - MCZ - 08-03-2016 Hi, Finally got my Pine64 2GB ! Running Android and everything seems OK. I heard that it is possible to watch and record TV using DVB-T USB Dongle but the Pine doesn't seem to work with the one I have. Are there any suggestions for a dongle that does work ? Maybe there's a driver I could install for the one I have ? This is the one I got from eBay Thanks, Mcz RE: DVB-T USB - MCZ - 08-09-2016 great community.. RE: DVB-T USB - Chrishas - 08-09-2016 Hi MCZ, I've never used a DVB-T dongle but have you tried using TVHeadend with kodi? Chris RE: DVB-T USB - Boring - 08-09-2016 Ok I have no experience with Android nor with dvb-t tuners. But from Google I got the following YouTube link http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CK2Qghpf7bA Did you try the steps described in the video description? And there is a driver for your dvb-t in the playstore. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=marto.rtl_tcp_andro&referrer=utm_source%3Dgoogle%26utm_medium%3Dorganic%26utm_term%3Drtl2832u+r820t+dvb-t+android&pcampaignid=APPU_1_6u6pV5OuKcnWgAbH6bGYCA But u still need an app that uses this driver and I didn't look into it, but Maybe it is only for the radio part of your tuner. Please check it out. Edit: The driver is for software defined radio [SDR] so not useful for tv Edit2: Which app did you try? RE: DVB-T USB - waldo - 08-09-2016 First things first ... Linux or Android .... I have quite some experience in linux (have the same dongle together with some dvb-s on an odroid c1 here) but wouldn't know the first thing about android and dvb If you're using linux .... type 'dmesg' at a terminal right after you plugged the dongle in .... we should be to help you out |
