More powerful smartwatch? - JohnDoes - 05-02-2024 Hi, I read the FAQ and know that Linux is off the chart because of the Cortex-M. Now, Is there anyone who is not afraid of a more expensive DIY watch, that decided to go that route anyway? I would like a sufficiently powerful starting point to create a nice watch, translating as much as I can my Linux knowledge and existing apps to the watch. I will create the 3d Printed case and fit the straps. But I need the electronics set properly, because I am not a "hardware" guy. So, any existing project going that route ? Cheers, RE: More powerful smartwatch? - Pavlos1 - 05-03-2024 Have a look at https://asteroidos.org/ (It's for existing watches, but if you just want a Linux smartwatch that's a lot easier than trying to DIY the electronics.) I like the fact that it is based on existing watches already. Thanks, |
