Unable to connect to Pine64 IRC channel due to certificate error? - Must-Borrow - 03-07-2024
Hey all -
I've been trying to connect to the Pine64 IRC server and channels for awhile now, but I can't seem to do so out of a certificate error. No idea what's causing it - my desktop (running Fedora) at work is connecting, through Pidgin, just fine. The same settings, on my home desktop (running Windows) is throwing the error.

Updated Pidgin to the latest (which I feel completely ridiculous for not having tried in the first place - mildly annoyed that it doesn't support system certificates and instead uses its own certificate store), and that SEEMS to have solved the problem. Still broken on Libera.chat, though, but that's a different forum to try.
