Broken display connector - Mick - 12-13-2023

Trying to find a solution for the broken case, I broke also the display flat cable. I pulled it, supposing it was a connector, but it was soldered!

Now, I would like to use the HDMI interface, but there should be something to do to activate it, because when I boot, it doesn't give any signal. Anyone has an idea on what I can do?

What image are you running on your Pienbook? You may not be getting HDMI out bc it's using a BSP image instead of a mainline one.

It was Xenial version of Mate, if I remember well.

Likely it's an ayufan image, and is probably BSP. Try booting an Armbian or Debian image. They should have a more mainlined kernel with HDMI support.
