Note that this is Signal Desktop, which is designed neither for mobile screens nor for use as a primary device (e.g., it does not allow you to sign up for a new account). You may have more luck with the third-party Axolotl, for which there are several threads trying (and often failing, unfortunately) to get it running. Though the main issue is with keyboard handling in Electron, which Signal Desktop also uses, so I doubt it is any better there.
