Best OS for Physical Keyboard? - jakfish - 02-17-2023 I've been distro-hopping on the PP and find that most current versions--Manjaro, PostMarketOS flavors--don't recognize the kb OOTB. Is there a current OS that does play nice with the kb, and if not, could somebody point me to an earlier version of an OS that does work with the kb, and I'll just pass on the updates until further notice? Many thanks. RE: Best OS for Physical Keyboard? - Uturn - 02-20-2023 hmm, for my, manjaro KDE plasma mobile and Gnome phone shell both work well (with the pinephone keyboard) RE: Best OS for Physical Keyboard? - _radv_ - 02-20-2023 (02-17-2023, 09:58 PM)jakfish Wrote: I've been distro-hopping on the PP and find that most current versions--Manjaro, PostMarketOS flavors--don't recognize the kb OOTB. It (mostly) works with Arch Linux, but there are about ten symbols I havn't gotten to work, yet, I think other people have. RE: Best OS for Physical Keyboard? - Peter Gamma - 06-22-2024 - I had Ubuntu Touch installed and it did not work, but it should work now, as a poster in the Ubports forum said - I have installed postmarketOS in my Pinephone, and the keyboard works. |
