Debian fp-compiler the how to guide - Darkshadow2913 - 07-17-2016

Well thanks to debian stretch having made arm64 packages

Here are the needed packages copy them to the pine64 and install with dpkg -i

I ran into trouble installing kodi but i was not going to let a few minor issues stop me...

alternatively you can just use the debian stretch sources but be warned its not stable....

My debian images come packed with Kodi as they are included in the backports repositories (jarvis).

The UI is slow due to lack of 3d acceleration at this point (gl) but you can set it to use software rendering and playback streams in windowed mode.

Once we have the Mali drivers working (right now the drm stack is what's holding things back.) this address should be worked out in no time Wink

Fair enough I've just had the issue of it complaining about missing dependencies but it could just be that I somehow broke the install
