Tow-boot required to new installations - user641 - 04-08-2022

Hello,

I was just reading the news regarding tow-boot; https://wiki.mobian-project.org/doku.php?id=install-linux

Once there's a new tow-boot release, do we need to reflash tow-boot and reflash mobian again every time?

Once I install tow-boot, can I reflash the mobian image with installer from april 3th? Or should we wait for new images?

It looks interesting and I like the idea of being able to get Jumpdrive functionality without having to use a separate SD card for that. The issues mentioned though (periodic boot failure and failure to resume from suspend) seem annoying, though presumably those will be fixed in a future release. More importantly it's not clear what affect (if any) installing this will have on Mobian already installed on the eMMC - do you have to reflash your OS after installing or updating tow-boot?
