Modem unreliable on the PPP with Mobian - EwigeBlumenkraft - 03-17-2022
I am using my Pinephone Pro EE since monday as a daily driver. Works good so far but since yesterday the modem began having hiccups.
Sometimes it shows no reception or the bar symbol is crossed out completely.
With mmcli I can see the modem in the first case but in the second it is not found.
I tried various combinations of mmcli scan and disable/enable with no result. Only restarting the phone works most of the time.
However when I restart the phone some settings (display zoom, input voltage from keyboard etc.) are gone.
Is there a reliable way to use modem manager to restore the connection?

What modem firmware are you running? Biktorg version with advised parameters works fine for me.

I am still on the stock firmware.
