My phone sat overnight, and I have no idea if the battery is dead or not. It is charging now, but still shows no signs of life when I hold the power button.

It is not possible to charge the phone offline, please follow the instructions in the blue info box: https://wiki.pine64.org/wiki/PinePhone_Pro#Installation_instructions
