Video player - Barugon - 03-02-2022

Any suggestions for a video player that works well on PPP (using Phosh)? Neither Totem nor VLC play nice.

What about mpv?

Thanks. It seems to work pretty good.

Unfortunately, mpv doesn't disable screen dimming/blanking while playing. Are there any other good choices?

Use gnome-session-inhibit when starting mpv (or anything else you don't want interrupting while running, like upgrades)

+1 for mpv.
Clapper is an excellent one as well and was made with mobile devices in mind, very easy to use on the PinePhone: https://github.com/Rafostar/clapper

I'll give this a try too.

I think that I found the best solution: celluloid. It's a GTK wrapper around mpv and it works great.
