Video player - Barugon - 03-02-2022 Any suggestions for a video player that works well on PPP (using Phosh)? Neither Totem nor VLC play nice. RE: Video player - Fish - 03-02-2022 What about mpv? RE: Video player - Barugon - 03-20-2022 Unfortunately, mpv doesn't disable screen dimming/blanking while playing. Are there any other good choices? RE: Video player - wibble - 03-20-2022 Use gnome-session-inhibit when starting mpv (or anything else you don't want interrupting while running, like upgrades) RE: Video player - Merc - 03-20-2022 +1 for mpv. Clapper is an excellent one as well and was made with mobile devices in mind, very easy to use on the PinePhone: https://github.com/Rafostar/clapper RE: Video player - Barugon - 03-20-2022 (03-20-2022, 01:55 PM)Merc Wrote: Clapper is an excellent one as well and was made with mobile devices in mind, very easy to use on the PinePhone: https://github.com/Rafostar/clapper Thanks, I'll give it a try. RE: Video player - Barugon - 04-03-2022 I think that I found the best solution: celluloid. It's a GTK wrapper around mpv and it works great. |
