Bookworm on Pine phone Pro - Explorer Edition - bcnaz - 02-07-2022

My Explorer PPPro  has no boot indicator LED when it is booting.
( It does boot -- just no boot indicator light )

It freezes everytime   it reaches suspend.
( I have to turn it off with a 10+ second press of the power button, then a 2 second press to turn it on)

But while it is up & running,  it does run very well.

Bookworm on sd card, --  latest release + all updates.

Posting from my Explorer Pro phone :

re downloaded bookworm, fresh flashed another sd card, did tonights updates and still have the above issues.

While it is up & running it is doing ok.

If I turn off suspend, I can get 4 or 5 hours max battery run time.

My daily use Pine phone is a convergent 1.2a w/Bookworm
suspend works, so does the boot indicator light.

Lovin the Explorer  but the Pro's software needs to at least catch up
with the original Pine phones branch.

Another week of no fresh release,

and the problem with "unmet dependencies" has returned when attempting to do updates.

I would suggest you to join the Mobian and the Pine64 channels, as you're posting about known and reported issues here (mind the project state). Suspend is crashing the phone due to DMA being used by U-Boot on the eMMC (patches used in latest Manjaro releases) and LEDs at boot are configured per operating system.
