Firefox WebRender Hardware Acceleration - Sinjur J - 01-26-2022

Has anyone managed to get WebRender hardware acceleration working for Firefox on the PinePhone? It seems that the previous method to force OpenGL no longer works. I tried to mess with some settings to see what I could get, but I don't really know what I'm doing. Has anyone had any luck?

I see the following in about:support (for both firefox-94 and firefox-esr-91 on postmarketos):

Quote:Compositing: WebRender (Software)
...
Failure Log
(#0) Error: No GPUs detected via PCI
(#1) Error: glxtest: process failed (received signal 11)
Running firefox from a terminal reveals similar details:
Quote:Crash Annotation GraphicsCriticalError: |[0][GFX1-]: No GPUs detected via PCI (t=2.14297) [GFX1-]: No GPUs detected via PCI

Crash Annotation GraphicsCriticalError: |[0][GFX1-]: No GPUs detected via PCI (t=2.14297) |[1][GFX1-]: glxtest: process failed (received signal 11) (t=2.14319) [GFX1-]: glxtest: process failed (received signal 11)

So I assume firefox's internal glxtest should be fixed first.
