WiFi nano adapter EDIMAX - chrissiles - 06-29-2016
Anyone knows if this WiFi adapter will work with the Pine64???, im still waiting for my board to arrive but i have successfully used this adapter on my RaspberryPi2 and other boards, i want to be ready when the Pineis here.

If you are going to use in under Linux you should be fine, not sure about android

On android and Remix it wont work (at the moment at least). You will likely get it to work in Linux with a bit of tinkering

what a pain, spent several hours with android install on ethernet and now I find it won't work!!
Disappointment continues with Pine64!!

Sorry if I come out condesending; If you read a little on the forum, you would not be so disappointed. The wifi adapter is 10 usd. Linux distro is free, fast and stable, but has other issues that Android and Remix does better. Like mesia support.
If you don't want your board, sell it. There are plenty of users on this forum that enjoy what disappoints you personally.

Do u know of wifi dongel that work? May try that route

None I know of are supported in Android or Remix. A whole bunch are supported on Linux. Again - supported Pine wifi and bluetooth addon board is 10 usd. Probably worth every penny you save on frustrations.

I can't understand why there are so many threads regarding this dongle yet NOTHING has been added, even latest image. It is SHOCKING.
