Gadgetbridge vs RF Connect - ronaldheld - 01-15-2022

For an Android phone with pinetime running Infinitime, which app is better or preferred and why?

"nRF Connect" suits good only for Firmware update, and for developers.
for regular users on Android the "Gadgetbridge" is the only one of kind - it's the Companion app, and support a lot of feature (e.g. Firmware update, date/time sync, notifications sync, some steps sync).
for list of other Companion apps, see the "Companion apps" section here https://github.com/InfiniTimeOrg/InfiniTime#companion-apps

Gadgetbridge appears to be a good choice for pairing with an Android device. Worked for me for firmware updating, but I'm yet to try notification pushes.

Can someone tell me if Gadgetbridge can be run on the Pinephone via Anbox, or some other Android emulator?
