Steps Counter Reset - Frowzzen - 12-27-2021 Is there a way to set the time the steps reset? They went back to zero too early in the day. I would think the steps would fall back to zero after midnight when the day is over. I don't know what time it reset, but it happened in the evening for me. RE: Steps Counter Reset - ITCactus - 12-28-2021 for me, it's always at midnight... at 00:00 (InfiniTime 1.7.1) RE: Steps Counter Reset - drh - 01-19-2022 We have this same issue where the step counter Pinetime (v1.8) randomly resets to zero during the middle if the day. Reduces the experience of using the Pinetime for tracking steps. Haven't figured out why. Will appreciate any advice on how to investigate. RE: Steps Counter Reset - ITCactus - 01-19-2022 for me, it's never resets in the middle of the day. it's always at midnight... the only case when it resets - after device reboot (e.g. by a long press "Power" button. well, the only hardware button). could it be the case? as an indicator of rebooted InfiniTime you may use a fact, that Notification are also cleared. so, if you see the zeroed steps counter, then check the notifications. p.s.: sometimes (noticed it only once in the last several months) InfiniTime counts much less steps than usual... also, @drh , if the issue is not one-time, you could log the issue to InfiniTime repo so it will be visible for developers. |
