ethernet connection using usb-C - gilwood - 12-21-2021

Does the pinephone 64 recognize a connection to the internet using a wired ethernet connection through the USB-c? Currently running Ubuntu Touch and cannot get the wifi to connect. Is there another workaround? Thanks

I changed my OS to Arch linux (Phosh) and everything on the Pinephone is working. The camera and USB-c connection to the network were most notable.

Note to other noobies: Don't be afraid of changing Distros to your pinephone. This is basically a development device. I am really beginning to appreciate how much flexibility the Pine64 team and the mobile developers are showing us with this device. I have ordered a Bluetooth keyboard with a mouspad to really take advantage of terminal on the phone.
