Hello,
Two dumb questions!
1. Is the screen and digitizer a combined unit or are they separate?
2. Does (1) in the document below do anything other than protect the screen?

I'm asking this because my Braveheart has just started playing up. I have difficulty touching some parts on the lower part of the screen, namely the area where the '6', 'y', 'h' and 'n' keys are located. The fault is intermittent.
If the digitizer is separate and/or (1) handles touch input, I was hoping to disassemble the phone and try re-seat either of them before ordering a replacement screen.

I'd try reseating the connector if you haven't done it already. Based on the 'Screen dying already?' thread I don't think there's a reasonable way for an end user to reassemble the screen assembly.

Yep, tried that before posting. But thanks for the suggestion.
From your post, it sounds like I have to order a replacement screen.
