PinePhone Screen - Csanderson0313 - 11-01-2021
Hey everyone, The screen on the pinephone does not seem that strong. I already crack the screen on it. I had to order a new one. Does anyone know about how long it take to come in?

I ordered my screen on September 9th, 2021 and it arrived on September 23rd, 2021. I live in very rural Idaho.
From what I've heard about the ongoing and ever-worsening shipping crisis (container ships stacked-up off of the California cost and other shipping industry breakdowns in both surface and air shipping), it is good that you ordered you screen well before Thanksgiving. Hopefully you paid extra for the DHL Express air service.
Personally, I'm currently in a far worse position than when I was waiting for my PP screen, having just ordered over $2000 in parts for my Takeuchi mini excavator (mostly engine rebuild parts). I'm waiting for the dealer to tell me if the parts are in stock state-side. If not, they will have to come from Japan. Without all of them, my excavator will be an expensive 3-ton boat anchor!

Thank you for the reply. Its hard to ever get someone to respond on here any more. yes i am a little afraid of how long it may take to get it. i have a ton of stuff at work ordered and been months and still waiting. Hopefully it will get better soon but don't think it will any time soon.

It's a forum about a phone, no need to make it political which is probably why it was removed. No offense to you or anyone else on this forum but people don't want to hear your (as in any of our) political opinions when they ask about shipping time.

My screen is still sitting at the airport to get shipped. I wonder what taking them so long to get it on the plane?
