Airplane mode - Barugon - 10-16-2021 Anyone know if there's a way to just permanently disable "airplane mode"? If I turn off bluetooth and wifi, it goes into "airplane mode" and also turns off the cell radio. This is really infuriating. Airplane mode is supposed to be a convenient way to turn off all the radios, not a reaction to turning off a couple radios. I'd like to bump that question back to attention - because the Aeroplane Mode is driving me mad. It seems, the last update of gnome-settings-daemon to v41.0-4 fixed that problem, finally! Disabling Wifi and Bluetooth is not activating the Aeroplane mode. Nice! I'm with you - it's time to just eliminate the concept of "airplane mode". It's easy enough to toggle services on or off as desired. |
