I wanted to try Ayufan's build and see if it would recognize my USB-C adaptor+external SSD combination before installing a bootable Debian (Sigmaris U-Boot doesn't recognize this setup and I really need to use that USB-C port due to dimensional limitations). Plus I wanted to get off micro-SD card dependence. Something obviously went wrong during the flash process as the SBC no longer displays any video output. Thank you very much for your help.

Follow this step to erase your SPI Flash : https://wiki.pine64.org/wiki/ROCKPro64#Disable_SPI_.28while_booting.29

I'm glad to report that I was able to get the Sigmaris U-Boot back onto the SPI. Luckily, I didn't have to follow the jumper protocol: In my particular case I observed the RockPro64 's status lights were still blinking as expected, so I sought to resolve the problem without removing the board from its case: Booting with an SD card flashed with Sigmaris U-Boot got the machine up and running again with full video display.

It is impossible to do this remotely.

There is no hurry for us, so please post here again when you have it in hand.

Greetings! Some recent circumstances had hampered my time with Debian and computing in general; then I attempted an experiment with another U-Boot which caused a bit of a problem for me that's since been resolved. Not to mention my RockPro64 is being shared so I don't always have physical access to it. But if you are still willing to post the necessary procedure, I'm eager to try it and report on my experience, although it may be about five days before I can access the computer to perform the steps. Hopefully in that time I can gain a better understanding of how this is getting done.

For everybody here who's stuck with the Debian Installation, I documented my working setup in this thread: https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=9744&pid=119240#pid119240
