Just tested the Manjaro-ARM-plasma-mobile-pinephone-20210615.img and the result is the same - only kde logo with cursor...
So it seems that currently the best way to get it installed is use the June 9th image and update online

After the update with the new Plasma everything is buggy, laggy and broken. I hope I have enough will power to proceed with the development of a framebuffer GUI probably based on https://lvgl.io/ .

I still have to manually re-enable 4G though, but so far I've experienced a more stable PlasMo after the big update than before.
It still have quite a long way to go, but it's getting more and more usable.
It's even more usable than Phosh when it comes to battery life and heat, especially since currently Phosh is getting hot enough to fry an egg on it even while just lying around right after booting doing absolutely nothing at all.
