scratchy phone audio - KABA - 06-05-2021

Is the entire board dedicated to bug reporting or is there a specific area?

After updating yesterday my phones audio is super scratchy, this was not the case before the update

Hoping for a fix on that  Rolleyes

It's mostly dedicated to discussion, but people will certainly try and help you out if there is a known fix. However, I don't think you've told us which OS you're using, so I would edit your original post to include that. Also, within the PinePhone Software forum there are sub forums for the different OS's available, where all discussion is specific to that OS. If there is no known fix though, you can raise an issue against that OS, e.g. for Mobian it would be https://gitlab.com/groups/mobian1/-/issues

I got my pinephone about a week ago, and despite the occasional software glitch, it works pretty well! the one thing I am kind of disappointed in is the call audio quality. It is extremely quiet to the point that I cant hear it unless I am in a dead silent room. When I try to turn up the volume using alsamixer it sounds distorted/blown out. I understand that the software has a ways to go, but I haven't heard anyone else mention this issue, so I thought it might be something wrong with my device. Most articles/posts just say that calls "work" and don't go into any detail.
