Return of faulty board - fdx - 06-15-2016 Board I got is faulty somehow. I tried every single image, tried phynix, winimage, DD on linux every single way on multiple SD cards (2GB, 4GB, up to 16 and even 32GB - more than 10 different SD cards) No luck at all... Sometimes I can see for bries second starting up logo (penguin with moving txt on screen) then dissapears and nothing else. Even red light goes down. I have enough of "fun" and I would like to replace board with the working one or return for full refund. I've send email to support but no answer at all... I understand guys are busy but if success of the board is too much for you to handle maybe its time to find someone that would do that for you. RE: Return of faulty board - g_t_j - 06-15-2016 Have you tried other PSUs and micro USB leads? The fact that the red light turns off after a while leads me to believe you probably have an underpowering issue. RE: Return of faulty board - fdx - 06-15-2016 I'm working in a service center for a tablets, PC's etc. I've tried many chargers and cables. I guess support is the only ones they can help you with troubleshooting or returning the board. Good luck with that. It might take some time to get a response but they will contact you. At least they did in my case. RE: Return of faulty board - fdx - 06-15-2016 I'll give it to my tech to check the usb port on the board. maybe there is a really problem with power and the only think I did not test is the port on the board. You can also try powering via the Euler Bus or Pi-2 interface as well, if you like. Also, how did you burn the images? (PhoenixCard, Win32DiskImager, Rufus, dd) And what microSD card are you using? And what monitor/screen are you using? |
