Phone USB-C socket is sloppy - lsitongia - 02-27-2021
A number of devices don't stay in the USB-C socket at the bottom of the phone. I see that the USB-C connector on the red cable that comes with the phone is a little longer than most.
The most serious example of this trouble is the Convergence dock bar. The fit is very poor. I have to align the two together so there is absolutely no strain and sometimes I need to hold them together by and to ensure a trustworthy fit.
The USB-C on the dock fits into the USB-C socket on my laptop well, so I think the problem is the socket on the phone.
