Link to forums hard to find - flatulent_piney - 02-06-2021
I know the website recently changed formats and had a redesign but had a hard time navigating to the forums from pine64.org (had to scroll to the bottom of the page instead of a link at the top of the page). My post is to suggest that the forums might be viewed as a higher priority and placed back in a more prominent place. As a largely open source project, I think that the forums should be a suggestion in the top level rather than something the user may have to hunt for in the fine print. Just my $.02

I know what you mean. The new main website (which is overbearing style more than function) has a javascript submenu top-right of the page with submenus all occluding direct navigation. And if you have javascript disabled this depthy array of submenus is inaccessible. To play devils advocate other people like the other social media types more than the forums.
I prefer the forum over the random unfollowable nature the other media types so I've bookmarked it as the "main" Pine64 site for me.
News/blog + store both ought to be direct links, my 2p.

Well Im not sure if it was always there and I missed it, or if the pine guys took my .02 but there is a link to the forums and chats back at the top of the page today. This makes it much easier for me to direct other people to the forums and I am glad for it. Ty
