In your January update you wrote that there will be another batch of the pencil in early February. Have I missed that already?

Not yes, but if you're concerned you might miss it, give a look, in the Pinecil subforum. Another user has made a simple script/gui app to make checking the availability easy.

Production delay due to components shortage. Th pinecil product will restart on end of February after Chinese New Year.
