megapixels crashes on picture take - hiimtye - 01-17-2021 opening megapixels by either the "Camera" option, or manually by running megapixels causes it to open, and the viewfinder works great. nice and smooth. (the first time colour is off but this is remedied the second open) when you tap on the take picture button, when using the "Camera" shortcut, it freezes and never takes any pictures (nothing in /tmp/ except an empty folder). using "megapixels" you get 0.dng in the temp folder in /tmp/ but it is useless and I believe there's supposed to be 5 also. the program crashes instantly once the file is written. using apk to del and add megapixels didn't solve anything anyone else have megapixels working? is it just my install? RE: megapixels crashes on picture take - hiimtye - 01-18-2021 so megapixels doesn't do different things with different ways of launching it, it simply has off colour and freezes the first time it's opened, and normal colour and crashes the second time it's opened. I attempted to purge it (the fix for Mobian is apt purge megapixels and then reinstalling) using Code: sudo apk del --purge megapixels RE: megapixels crashes on picture take - anjanmomi - 02-13-2021 Please see my solution here: https://todo.sr.ht/~martijnbraam/Megapixels/45 RE: megapixels crashes on picture take - hiimtye - 02-13-2021 the solution was to downgrade tiff used stable 3.13 version here: http://dl-cdn.alpinelinux.org/alpine/v3.13/main/aarch64/tiff-4.1.0-r2.apk RE: megapixels crashes on picture take - hiimtye - 03-04-2021 aftet updating megapixels its necessary to add mainline tiff again Code: sudo apk add tiff |
