very low buzz noise - LMM - 12-12-2020 The Rockpro64 boards emit a buzz noise (audible only at some centimeters), this is probably due to the converters. However. there is no noise at all on the rock64. Then, I am wondering if it is not due to 12V instead of the 5V for rock64. Is there a reason for this choice ? reduce current ? Powering with GPIO 5V does not reduce the noise RE: very low buzz noise - tllim - 12-15-2020 (12-12-2020, 04:21 AM)LMM Wrote: The Rockpro64 boards emit a buzz noise (audible only at some centimeters), this is probably due to the converters. The buzz noise may comes from inductor vibration. You can put some glue or wax on the inductors and the noise may goes away. There are few on the board, ferrite material and top is round. Normally next to power regulator chip.
