How to Monitor Power Management Changes? - Lousy Fisherman - 11-07-2020

Does anyone know where or how to catch signals from the power management module. DBUS? /proc? I am porting kalliope and I need to shut down whenever the phone sleeps or suspends or even blanks the screen.

Between ACPI, DPM, pm_utils and Crust I am not sure where to look. Or what to look for.

TIA

Answering my own questions again, lol
And as I search for information on gnome-calls I find https://wiki.mobian-project.org/doku.php?id=tweaks
with lots of good information including, gnome-session-inhibit and lots of other stuff for all distros

Then I stumble across https://developer.puri.sm/Librem5/APIs.html?highlight=mutter which has

D-Bus APIs provided by the Phone Shell (Phosh): New research project is mutter I guess
YMMV, mine certainly does
