bluetooth firmware update - pjsf - 10-12-2020 Just flashed the 0.8.2 version of infinitime via nrf connect upgrading from the shipped firmware, after downloading it the pinetime automatically rebooted (expected), then froze up - blank screen no response to button pressing or long hold (bricked). I had to disconnect the battery to get it to restart. Then, strangely, it booted into 0.8.2 all working fine. Am I missing something here? is there some way to get the effect of disconnecting the battery in this situation without actually doing it? Otherwise this might be a problem for the sealed units now shipping. I did a big mistake and verified the image before I noticed the time was wrong and did not update. Even when trying to force to set time in the debug part of gadgetbridge did it update, so I tried to reboot by long pressing the button. Now the screen is blank. I knew the risk, but it was a short lived fun :-) Should have played with an unsealed one. My last hope is that when the battery dies out, it will wake up again. Requires a working bluetooth connection to function. (10-16-2020, 07:01 AM)eivindm Wrote: Now the screen is blank. Backlight. (also this forum software sucks so bad, I hate quoting people here) |
