MAC address change - user0258 - 09-14-2020 Hi all, I have a advanced question that might challenge some of you. How would you go about changing the default wireless mac address? permanently .. not spoofing either! why you ask? well why not ![]() RE: MAC address change - ab1jx - 09-15-2020 I've no reason to try it but have you tried these? https://duckduckgo.com/?q=linux+%22change+mac+address%22+wireless&t=ffnt&ia=web I know that in some cases it can be changed, in the old days there was a manufacturer prefix and a board number suffix, like with USB devices. They originally served more purpose than now. If you start scanning wifi signals you can see router brands and models.
