September release - defactofactotum - 09-05-2020 The recent images for sfos seem to have very stable wifi. I haven't tried a sim card yet, fingers crossed. MTP no longer works. Sailfish connect doesn't work either. Or the camera, but it now features colour bars so something is happening. RE: September release - RTP - 09-05-2020 I have been really excited about Sailfish and want to do a video on it soon (hoping to spread how beautiful it is- so much potential for pinephone). I am noticing some movements at gitlab (1 day ago) and have been paying close attention. Looks like some potential help is waiting on Pinephones (due to problems in Russia shipping) https://github.com/sailfish-on-dontbeevil/droid-config-pinephone/issues/49 Are you saying there was a new Sept release? If so, where can I find it? Thanks! RE: September release - defactofactotum - 09-06-2020 (09-05-2020, 01:35 PM)RTP Wrote: <<Are you saying there was a new Sept release? If so, where can I find it? Apart from that it seems to work smoothly and wlan work nice and steady 2. To bad that the mobile part doesn’t work RE: September release - firefox-58 - 09-07-2020 (09-07-2020, 08:45 AM)Helium75 Wrote: I just tried the latest release .... didn’t find my SIM card . And also no mobile data. And no MMS/SMS Proof of concept, but without any chance for a serious or any other regular use. RE: September release - patrickjquinn - 09-09-2020 Has anyone gone ahead and made a flashable image of SFOS for PP? I'm on Mac without access to a day to day Linux rig and an image would just make life so much easier. On Twitter Adam reported, taht there shortly will be available a build WITH working SIM, IMEI, phone calls and mobile data RE: September release - Helium75 - 09-10-2020 That would be awesome and , if stable , my favorite OS Looking forward to it RE: September release - firefox-58 - 09-10-2020 (09-10-2020, 08:37 AM)Helium75 Wrote: That would be awesome and , if stable , my favorite OS https://github.com/sailfish-on-dontbeevil/flash-it and https://github.com/sailfish-on-dontbeevil/droid-config-pinephone/pull/50 From Adam: yes, the newest build works, but there is a bug where it doesnt work after a reboot. i made a fix for it here https://github.com/sailfish-on-dontbeevil/droid-config-pinephone/pull/50 GitHub (https://github.com/sailfish-on-dontbeevil/droid-config-pinephone/pull/50) Make lipstick wait until ofono is ready by piggz · Pull Request #50 · sailfish-on-dontbeevil/droid-config-pinephone This is a bit hacky but read on. Currently, ofono assumes the sim slot / imei is known immediately. With the pinephone, ofono and gobi plugin, the imei is signalled after startup. If lipstick is ... ################# |
