My Daily QA - 2020-08-25 - plainenough - 08-25-2020

Conclusion: This OS is not ready for the pinephone to become a daily driver.
Notes: Verizon struggled a little bit. Looks like something with texting is broken. Could be an incomplete implementation of 4G based texting. According to the Verizon rep, 3G is no longer supported. This is consistent when I try to force the phone to 3G. (No lights, nobody home). 3G calls had no audio on TMobile. 4G unable to call out. I noticed today that the camera image is reversed; probably has been this way since it started rendering, just making a note.

Thanks for these! They are really helpful! I am in Canada on Freedom mobile. I havent had any issues making calls or texts in recent versions on 4G. I also noticed that wi-fi is connecting quicker in the last 2 or 3 versions. One thing i did notice is that the APN settings that the phone pulls from Freedom is wrong. The cell data URL is wrong but once I change it to the one listed on the freedom mobile website, it works like a charm. Not a big desl for me but thought it might help someone else if they are having issues with cell data.
