My Daily QA - 2020-08-25 - AmazingNutria - 08-25-2020 Results: Mobian/2020-08-25-Verizon.html Mobian/2020-08-25-TMoblie.html Conclusion: OS is not Ready for pinephone to be daily driver. Notes: Much improvement from yesterday. Clear phone quality. Stable wifi. SMS on point. The UI is more responsive. Camera is still lagy. Phone is still a bit slow overall. All tests except MMS messages are passing today!! RE: My Daily QA - 2020-08-25 - plainenough - 08-25-2020 We should begin regular testing of MMS. Soon on this OS. RE: My Daily QA - 2020-08-25 - bcnaz - 08-25-2020 Have you tried adjusting the microphone input in settings to help with the echo ? I am asking because I read before in the forum that verizon might charge you $30 if detects a new device. I have Verizon, but I do not want to start being charged every time I try it. Are you in the US? The WebRTC one may be the better bet. It also has automatic gain control which may help with complaints about volume. Assuming it isn't in there already...or use too much cpu... http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?t=128306 https://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/PulseAudio/Documentation/User/Modules/#module-echo-cancel RE: My Daily QA - 2020-08-25 - HLing - 08-25-2020 wish my calls would come back. I ran apt upgrade today, but calls are still not working for me. (08-26-2020, 02:01 AM)scott_VYuCAbn3k1NFK Wrote:(08-25-2020, 11:30 PM)HLing Wrote: wish my calls would come back. So, your SIM is associate to another phone, but it works in your PinePhone. So, then I wonder I can use my iphone SIM or if I buy one, associate it to my iphone, but use it on the Pine. Still not sure about fees if i keep switching phones. thanks! |
