You can locate the LCD panel build for Android on wiki page. here is the download link: http://files.pine64.org/os/android/android-ver5.1.1-lcd-version-20160419-pine64-phoenixCard.zip

Good to know. Is there a dd-like image as well (cat <image> | pv | dd of=<dev> bs=1M)?

Hi

I have managed to get the android LCD version to work ok, but I was wondering if any of the others work with the LCD? Remix, Ubuntu etc?

Thanks

I'd also like an answer to this question too!  I don't really want to run Android - LINUX (or BSD even! :-) ) all the way for this little black duck...  Surely with 2GB RAM (I got two 2 GB boards) it would be enough to run Ubuntu Touch or at least Unity ?

How "Linuxy" are the Android builds?  e.g. can you get busybox and a shell?

This is a good question. I will check with Remix folks on LCD support. On the Ubuntu front, I have provide the LCD panel to longsleep and shipped out on last week. longsleep mentioned that he will take a look but not promise result.

Android practically build on top on Linux.
