Where will system images be hosted for download? - samandiriel - 12-10-2015

I presume that they'll be made available - but from whence, and when?
I would imagine that official torrents will be an option as well?

Thanks for reading, and am looking forward to trying out this spiffy little guy Smile

I am also curious about this. If the image is not hosted then we would have to purchase the OS on a SD card. I would prefer using my own SD card (larger then 8GB) and installing the OS.

Our original plan is public release the system image on mid January 2016. Since there are few requests for early release, we will post our current build on this week, stays tune.

Is there any update on this ?

Anyone have a safe, direct link to download Android Lollipop 5.1 ?

Have you considered using torrents to distribute the images.
Might help overloading problems when 15000 people get their boards all at once.

Good suggestion, we will release the torrents seed on the day after Christmas.

I tried to download the Android image and it says I have to login. It show's this pop up to login, see attachment.

Then it go's to another page and give's this message.

" This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required. "

What am I doing wrong ?

Seems like our site problem, we will fix it. The torrent seed method seems work.

It is working now, we temporarily switch to Google drive method.
