GPS not working? UBports edition - xintri - 07-21-2020
I got my modem and wifi to work, i can make calls and texts and got 4G LTE internet.
but now my only issue is that I cant use the GPS. I have turned locations on and tested uNav, Pure maps and Here maps. Google maps in the browser doesn't work either.
Has anyone gotten GPS to work with pinephone ubports edition? does it work out of the box for you? what app do you use?

I don't know about with UBPorts, but if it doesn't upload assistance data then you'll need a good GPS signal and some time to get a GPS fix. With assistance data it's a lot quicker and doesn't need as good a signal - pretty much like other smartphones. As far as I know none of the distros have this working automatically yet.
